About The Founder/Coach

Hansapriya, the founder of Ujjayii Yoga, is a certified Yoga Coach with over 6 years of experience guiding students towards holistic wellness. Her passion for women’s health stems from her own transformative journey during her postpartum phase.

Facing challenges like weight gain, fatigue, and breastfeeding difficulties, Hansapriya discovered a critical gap: the lack of reliable information for new mothers, especially during the crucial “fourth trimester.” Through dedicated yoga practice, healthy eating, and traditional postnatal care (Sutika Paricharya), she not only shed 19 kilos (from 79.8kg to 59kg) in just 10months but also completely healed her Diastasis Recti, regained core strength, and experienced a surge of energy- all while caring for her newborn.

This experience fueled a deep exploration of women’s physiology, leading Hansapriya to pursue formal certification in prenatal and postnatal yoga. Combining her personal journey with her expertise, she developed the “Mama in Motion and Beyond Birth” program, specifically designed to empower women throughout their motherhood journey.

Our founder, Hansapriya, a certified yoga coach, is passionate about supporting women throughout all life phases. We offer specialized prenatal yoga classes that acknowledge your unique needs during pregnancy. These classes focus on 3S principle focusing on gentle movement, breathwork (pranayama), and relaxation techniques to promote a healthy pregnancy and prepare your body for childbirth.
Following childbirth, our postnatal fitness program which is based on 3R principles help you regain strength, get rid of the back pain, fix your Diastasis Recti, gain flexibility, and energy . We understand your body undergoes significant hormonal changes during pregnancy and postpartum. Our programs are designed to be sensitive to these changes and support a healthy recovery.
